No boring weekend here!

HAPPY FALL YALL!

Although I always looked forward to the weekend -( partaking in the whole, TGIF thing), most Saturdays I hung around the house bored. Even if I did venture out, it was mainly to the mall or one of my children's functions. I WAS BORED! And it took several years of boredom and the realization that no one was gonna fix it but me, for me to do anything about it.  You have to be vigilant about designing a new life, or even tackling a troubled area. Here's some of the things I did to overcome boredom.

My city has local entertainment magazines that feature artist and events happening around town on a weekly basis. They're located in trendy restaurants and artsy places.  You'll be surprised at all the fun stuff going on right under your nose!
For me, the online Meet up groups have been a game changer. Sometimes I land on an event and decide to go with my adult children or my husband. Other times, I go with "the girls"!
I'd also like to encourage you to go to the events you  are invited to! It's so easy to stay in the rut and be a no show when good friends are doing something that requires you to leave your house, but it's a powerful thing when you go and wage war on complacency! It's empowering Ladies!!

I WAS INVITED (VIA MEETUP) TO GO TO THE FARMERS MARKET
IT WAS THEIR 75TH BIRTHDAY FESTIVAL
